For the avatar, I did use the very same font type that L used, so, yeah, I suppose it would remind you or anyone else for that matter of Deathnote, especially with how popular the anime has become thanks to Adult Swim.
As for my lack of art, I have no scanner, no photoshop, and no tablet; what am I to work with?!? I will aquire these items by early next spring but I have to save up for them...
By the way, I got PhotoShop for a discounted price at a University Bookstore. (but I think my tablet came with it for free. ^_^" (I got a small tablet on amazon for... I forget how much now, but I think it was less than a hundred) All the free discs that came with my tablet got burned up in a fire...)
